We want to provide you the best most accurate information possible regarding the weather and tides in our coverage area. This will determine the current conditions and help plan what to bring on your boating excursion.

Environment Canada has two weather stations in our region:

Halibut Bank Weather Buoy

Sechelt Airport Weather Station

Tides

We are the only station that has two vessels in different locations. Separated by the Skookumchuck Narrows the tidal patterns keep the water inside the Sechelt Inlet constantly moving. Tides are very important to your boating life on the coast. Fisheries and Oceans Canada has two locations for tidal predictions in our coverage area:

Halfmoon Bay

Porpoise Bay
