Vessel Safety Surveys (VSS)

Safety on the water is paramount

Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue (RCM-SAR) Station 12 crews are out on the water spreading the safe boating message. Through the Vessel Safety Survey program we are able to reach out to the marine community. At the invitation of vessel operators, our crews will conduct an informal safety survey. We provide this service for free.

Safety items aid vessel operators to stay prepared.

Once the survey is complete, boating safety supplies are handed out free! Questions you have can be answered by our crews, most of all we want you to be safe and informed.

We take pride in our knowledge and training about safe boating consequently spreading the message of safe boating is something we are passionate about.
